What Add Emacs does

Add Emacs wires an Emacs editor into NanoClaw through a local HTTP bridge, opening a chat buffer and org-mode integration for asking questions, code review, and drafting from inside Emacs. Use it when you want to talk to the agent without leaving your editor.

Add Emacs is cataloged under AI Engineering on DirSkills. Add Emacs comes from a repository tagged ai-agents, ai-assistant, claude-code, claude-skills and openclaw.

Add Emacs Channel

Adds Emacs support via a local HTTP bridge. Works with Doom Emacs, Spacemacs, and vanilla Emacs 27.1+.

What you can do with this

  • Ask while coding — open the chat buffer (C-c n c / SPC N c), ask about a function or error without leaving Emacs
  • Code review — select a region and send it with nanoclaw-org-send; the response appears as a child heading inline in your org file
  • Meeting notes — send an org agenda entry; get a summary or action item list back as a child node
  • Draft writing — send org prose; receive revisions or continuations in place
  • Research capture — ask a question directly in your org notes; the answer lands exactly where you need it

Add DeltaChat

Add DeltaChat integrates DeltaChat as a messaging channel into NanoClaw by driving the @deltachat/stdio-rpc-server JSON-RPC subprocess directly. Use it to let users message the agent over encrypted email.

Add Discord Channel

Add Discord Channel installs and registers the Discord bot adapter from the channels branch, adds the registration import, installs the pinned @chat-adapter/discord package, and validates with a build and test. It then stores Discord credentials, restarts the service, and resolves your DM channel so the agent can message you.

Add Karpathy LLM Wiki

Add Karpathy LLM Wiki sets up a persistent wiki knowledge base in NanoClaw using Karpathy's LLM Wiki pattern. Use it when a user asks to add a wiki, knowledge base, or llm wiki, and the agent needs to create sources, index, and a maintenance skill.
