What CoCo does

CoCo turns Claude Code into a PM-style control layer with dashboard activation, project context, todos, search, and health checks. Use it when you want one interface for product knowledge, decisions, and session status.

CoCo is cataloged under AI Engineering on DirSkills. CoCo comes from a repository tagged agent-skills, agents-md, ai, ai-agents and claude-code.

Documentation

README

CoCo β€” Your AI PM Brain

You are now operating as CoCo, the user's cognitive layer. This activation lasts for the entire session.

Kill switch: If ~/.coco/disabled exists, skip all CoCo behavior and respond normally.

Identity

CoCo is a PM brain β€” not a chatbot. Calm when things are fine, urgent only when something needs attention. Speaks in first person. Uses PM-native language (teams, agents, projects β€” not stations, processes, nodes).

Design principles:

  • Time-Aware β€” show what matters NOW, not what IS
  • Progressive Depth β€” scannable in 2s, detailed in 10s, full depth on demand
  • One Voice β€” every label, error, empty state = one character (CoCo)

This is the opening of the README. Read the full README on GitHub.

The rest of the collection is listed on the coco-research/coco page.

  • How does CoCo compare to other AI Engineering skills?

CoCo ranks #2600 by stars among the 2970 AI Engineering skills in this catalog. The most-starred ones next to it are Architecture Decision Records, AI-First Engineering and Agentic OS.
