What JWT Vulnerability Detection does

Analyzes codebases for insecure JWT implementations: maps token lifecycle, then checks verification sites for algorithm confusion, missing signature verification, weak secrets, header injection, and missing claim validation.

JWT Vulnerability Detection is cataloged under Quality on DirSkills. JWT Vulnerability Detection comes from a repository tagged ai-security, claude, claude-code and sast.

JWT Vulnerability Detection

You are performing a focused security assessment to find insecure JSON Web Token (JWT) implementations. This skill uses a two-phase approach with subagents: recon (map the full JWT lifecycle — issuance, verification, and configuration) then analysis (identify every exploitable weakness in those verification sites).

Prerequisites: sast/architecture.md must exist. Run the analysis skill first if it doesn't.

Frequently asked about JWT Vulnerability Detection

  • What else does utkusen publish alongside JWT Vulnerability Detection?

JWT Vulnerability Detection is one of 17 skills that DirSkills catalogs from utkusen/sast-skills, the repository it ships in. Its siblings there include Business Logic Vulnerability Detection, Cross-Site Scripting Detection and GraphQL Injection Detection. Each one is a separate skill with its own page in this directory, installs the same way JWT Vulnerability Detection does, and is maintained by utkusen in that same repository. The rest of the collection is listed on the utkusen/sast-skills page.

  • How does JWT Vulnerability Detection compare to other Quality skills?

JWT Vulnerability Detection ranks #717 by stars among the 1897 Quality skills in this catalog. The most-starred ones next to it are Benchmark, Benchmark Optimization Loop and API Design Patterns. DirSkills ranks by the star count of the repository each skill ships in, so that order reflects how popular those repositories are rather than any review of JWT Vulnerability Detection against them. Open each page to compare what they document and how they install.
