What Running CORAL Experiments does

Running CORAL Experiments drives CORAL runs from the operator side with start, status, log/show, resume, heartbeat tuning, and stop. Use it to launch agents, monitor results, inspect attempts, steer a run, or diagnose failures.

Running CORAL Experiments is cataloged under AI Engineering on DirSkills. Running CORAL Experiments comes from a repository tagged agent-framework, agent-orchestration, agentic-ai, ai-agents and alpha-evolve.

Running CORAL experiments

You drive a run with five verbs: start โ†’ status โ†’ log/show โ†’ resume โ†’ stop. Everything else is a flag on those or a deeper topic in the references. Prefer coral <cmd> --help over guessing flags.

Prereq: a task (task.yaml + seed/ + grader package) that passes coral validate .. No task yet โ†’ that's the creating-a-coral-task skill. Each runtime CLI must be installed and authenticated โ†’ the setting-up-coral skill.

Frequently asked about Running CORAL Experiments

  • What else does Human-Agent-Society publish alongside Running CORAL Experiments?

Running CORAL Experiments is one of 12 skills that DirSkills catalogs from Human-Agent-Society/CORAL, the repository it ships in. Its siblings there include CORAL Quickstart, Coral Debug and Coral Extend. Each one is a separate skill with its own page in this directory, installs the same way Running CORAL Experiments does, and is maintained by Human-Agent-Society in that same repository. The rest of the collection is listed on the Human-Agent-Society/CORAL page.

  • How does Running CORAL Experiments compare to other AI Engineering skills?

Running CORAL Experiments ranks #1484 by stars among the 2451 AI Engineering skills in this catalog. The most-starred ones next to it are Architecture Decision Records, AI-First Engineering and Agentic OS. DirSkills ranks by the star count of the repository each skill ships in, so that order reflects how popular those repositories are rather than any review of Running CORAL Experiments against them. Open each page to compare what they document and how they install.

CORAL Quickstart

CORAL Quickstart explains what CORAL does and when to use it, then walks through installing the CLI, registering a runtime, and scaffolding a `.coral_workspace/` for a codebase you want optimized. Use it to get from zero to a validated CORAL task and launch point.

Coral Debug

Coral Debug verifies and debugs changes to CORAL itself, with the smallest repro loop for each area like grader, daemon, CLI, hooks, manager, workspace, hub, template, config, and web. Use it when editing code under coral/ or investigating a CORAL bug.

Coral Extend

Coral Extend adds new components to the CORAL framework itself, such as agent runtimes, CLI commands, hooks, config fields, bundled templates, or grader infrastructure. Use it when changing the package internals, not for per-task graders or debugging existing code.
