What Signet Recall does

Signet Recall uses `signet_recall` for explicit Signet memory lookups and `signet_source_search` for source-backed answers. Use it when you need recall across memories or provenance-aware search instead of Codex native memory alone.

Signet Recall is cataloged under AI Engineering on DirSkills. Signet Recall comes from a repository tagged agent-memory, ai-memory, claude-code, codex and hermes-agent.

Signet Recall

Use signet_recall for explicit Signet recall. Ask natural questions with an entity, event, and timeframe when possible. Use signet_source_search when the answer should come from source-backed artifacts rather than ordinary saved memories.

Do not treat Codex native memory and Signet memory as competing stores. Codex native memory is a source that Signet can index with provenance.

Frequently asked about Signet Recall

  • What else does Signet-AI publish alongside Signet Recall?

Signet Recall is one of 10 skills that DirSkills catalogs from Signet-AI/signetai, the repository it ships in. Its siblings there include Agents Md Sync, Dreaming and Dreaming Development. Each one is a separate skill with its own page in this directory, installs the same way Signet Recall does, and is maintained by Signet-AI in that same repository. The rest of the collection is listed on the Signet-AI/signetai page.

  • How does Signet Recall compare to other AI Engineering skills?

Signet Recall ranks #2254 by stars among the 2631 AI Engineering skills in this catalog. The most-starred ones next to it are Architecture Decision Records, AI-First Engineering and Agentic OS. DirSkills ranks by the star count of the repository each skill ships in, so that order reflects how popular those repositories are rather than any review of Signet Recall against them. Open each page to compare what they document and how they install.

Agents Md Sync

Agents Md Sync prunes and routes AGENTS.md guidance so inherited context stays small, durable, and useful. Use it when nested agent instructions have drifted, duplicated, or become too broad.

Dreaming

Dreaming maintains Signet's ontology and memory substrate from transcripts, memory artifacts, source artifacts, notes, summaries, and imported records. Use it when bulk evidence needs to be turned into entities, links, claims, and provenance-tracked maintenance output.

Dreaming Development

Dreaming Development helps preserve Signet's current Dreaming architecture while making changes. Use it when inspecting source, semantic memory, retrieval, and inference paths to avoid duplicate modules and ad-hoc providers.
