What Collision Proxy does

Collision Proxy authoring for game physics and blocking volumes in Blender via MCP. Use it to build simple collider meshes, convex hulls, capsules, and engine-specific UCX/UHX naming.

Collision Proxy is cataloged under Automation on DirSkills. Collision Proxy comes from a repository tagged 3d-models, agent, agent-skills, blender and blender-addon.

Documentation

README

Collision Proxy

Simple, stable colliders. Prefer primitives and convex pieces over render mesh.

When to Use

  • Game physics / blocking volumes
  • Unreal UCX export
  • Unity mesh or primitive colliders
  • Hitboxes for interactables

Workflow

Identify collision needs → Build proxies → Name correctly
→ Test overlaps → Export with render mesh

Collider Types

Type Use
Box Crates, walls, simple props
Capsule Characters, poles
Sphere Balls, soft approximates
Convex hull Organic / irregular single body
Multiple convex (UCX) Vehicles, complex props

Unreal Naming

UCX_SM_Asset_01
UCX_SM_Asset_02
  • Must match associated mesh naming rules for auto-association
  • Convex only for UCX

Frequently asked about Collision Proxy

  • What else does arjun988 publish alongside Collision Proxy?

Collision Proxy is one of 25 skills that DirSkills catalogs from arjun988/blender-skills, the repository it ships in. Its siblings there include Analog Found Footage Horror, Animation and Anime Style. Each one is a separate skill with its own page in this directory, installs the same way Collision Proxy does, and is maintained by arjun988 in that same repository. The rest of the collection is listed on the arjun988/blender-skills page.

  • How does Collision Proxy compare to other Automation skills?

Collision Proxy ranks #1971 by stars among the 2109 Automation skills in this catalog. The most-starred ones next to it are Autonomous Loops, Autonomous Agent Harness and Automation Audit Ops.
